Continuing Education Workshops

Strengthen professional knowledge and skills across disciplines to enhance services to parents.

Cancellation Policy: No refund can be made for cancellation seven or fewer working days before the event or for no-shows. Cancellations more than seven working days before a workshop will result in a refund less a $15.00 cancellation fee. Requests for refunds must be received in writing.

May 5, 2017 Threat, Trauma and Mentalization in Parent-Infant Intervention Continuing Education Arietta Slade, Ph.D., will discuss theoretical frameworks of a reflective parenting approach.

June 16, 2017 The Complexities of Therapeutic Intervention with Parents who are Substance Dependent Continuing Education Ruth Paris, Ph.D., will discuss developmental progress and resilience, while supporting recovery from substance misuse.

July 28, 2017 Perinatal Grief and Loss: Helping Families Heal Continuing Education Joann O’Leary, Ph.D., will identify interventions that can be helpful to families who have experienced a loss.
